What is the history and future of the DJ'ing?

Enagaging Black and PoC youth in these questions about a decades-old Black artform, DJ Classroom brought this series to Luebeck schools and clubs.

The public-funded project aimed at teens and young adults tried to establish a series of after-school activities where kids could find ways of expression in a highly polarising society. The workshops were led by a DJ from Berlin, with assistance from interpretors and translators to make the event barrier-free.

The visual style follows the controlled chaos of graffiti-inspired typography, hinting toward the wider cultural connections between DJing, sampling, Hip-hop and urban art. The title block is typeset in these varying forms throughout the designed assets.
